Setting Up Action Learning
How successful the groups are to start off with depends on their level of "learning maturity". If they are used to being "taught" they typically need some initial development in group dynamics, facilitation and self-responsibility for learning before they operate successfully. So, our approach includes an initial one day workshop, covering:
- ALG methodology
- Reflection, inquiry, skilful discussion
- Giving and receiving feedback
- Contracting - identifying key areas for personal development.
